Amazing tour. Michael was great, relaxed, knowledgeable, and really worked to understand what we wanted. I learnt more on this tour about New York than I'd learnt from two previous visits! I loved the bikes, really enjoyed central park, and was really bowled over by some dof the sites, particularly the memorial to John Lennon! Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our bike ride around Central Park with Holland Bikes. The whole team were very friendly and welcoming and Mike our guide was excellent. My wife was a little worried about cycling from the office to Central Park but Mike was very attentive and took great care of are of us for the short ride to the park itself. Once inside it was a stress free and loads of fun! I recommend the e-bikes (it was our first experience with them) and it made the ride almost effortless. MIke is very knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun and informative. The guided Bike tour with Holland Bikes was a highlight of our visit to NYC and I thoroughly recommend them. I don't know if I should type this in Dutch or English...... I'll go with English because everybody would love this. We took the Central Park tour today with our guide Herman. Herman speaks Dutch, he is Dutch and of course speaks English very well as they all do in the Netherlands. The tour, it was great to get out on a bike in New York. Central park is a big place and walking it would take a fair amount of time so biking it was a no brainer. Herman was great, an incredibly friendly guy as they all are at the shop and had great knowledge of the park and Manhattan. We were very lucky to be the only ones on our tour as it's very early in the season but the weather was perfect for a bike ride. The bike....Dutch of course cycled flawlessly, well maintained and with a belt drive made no noise whatsoever. They have the choice of a good old fashioned leg powered bike or a modern assisted bike. We went with leg power cause it's good for you but if hills aren't your thing take the assisted one. The ride is an easy going 2.5 hour ride stopping frequently for an explanation of where we are and of course a photo moment. A short city break in New York is busy so being able to see Central Park in a few hours is a bonus, it gives you more time to see the rest of Manhattan and the surrounding area. When booking the tour the site is easy to follow. Choose your language, your tour and of course the type of bike you need and you are set to go. Sunday 5th October we had a great experience cycling for 21/2 hours through New York with Michael. He led us to a lot of places where we otherwise never should have come. Going on the bike is a pleasant way of exploring New York as a tourist who there never had been before. Al together it was a great fun, and it is advisable to everybody coming to New York to go with Holland Bikes if you enjoy cycling. Also, the service of Holland Bikes, e.g. the handling and the bikes themselves are excellent. Micheal and Babette and all the other thanks very much for these golden moments you offered us that day. Must go! We had a great trip to New York which we ended with this brilliant bike tour for six. Our guide, Eric, was wonderful! He adjusted the tour specifically to our liking, keeping in mind which places we visited before and even made our preferred coffeestop. Eric’s knowledge of historic and recent venues is really impressive. You really experience the city in a different way by bike. What was extra special is crossing the Brooklyn Bridge (twice!). Since the bikes are electric you cover large distances with ease. The new Gazelle’s were so pleasant to ride, we’re looking to get one ourselves! Thanks for the great tour!

We loved the Holland Bikes downtown tour! Herman is an amazing tour guide and the bikes were so comfortable both the regular and e-bikes. We saw great NYC and Brooklyn spots in 2.5 hours. Can’t wait to try the new Central Park tour!

This tour company is fabulous, highly recommend. We had a most beautiful guided tour throughout all of lower Manhattan and wonderful areas of Brooklyn on very luxurious “Mercedes” bikes. Very nice bikes with squishy leather seats, leather handles, and multiple e-bike “drive modes.” These bikes, and the overall tour, were excellent. Our group had an amazing time, RECOMMEND!

Great tour with amazing views covering the Brooklyn bridge, Ground zero, Chinatown, Little Italy and back over the Manhattan bridge. Excellent local guide with a lot of knowledge and local info on good price/quality restaurants which we benefitted from! We had brand new e-bikes which were super strong and comfortable. We cycled over the bridges in a breeze!
