At Holland Bikes, we have high quality bikes for all ages: city bikes, electric bikes, cargo bikes, tandems, children’s bikes, e-MTBs and more. We also offer bike delivery across the entire Ile de Ré, to your accommodation.

Well organised booked online and the bikes were ready for us on arrival. We enjoyed the experience. Never realised that there were so many cyclists 😳. The traffic free paths were ideal but although in the latter part of September one had to be careful to avoid head on incidents.

As a family we rented six bikes from Holland Bikes on Ile de Ré. We arrived on a Saturday which is a particularly busy day on the Island, but the communication was good, the drop off was smooth and the bikes were all pristine. On the second day we had an issue with a broken chain and Dan who was extremely helpful came out in a van to us and exchanged it for a brand new one, with zero fuss and with us not having to wait at all. We can't think of a better way to see Ile de Ré and would highly recommend Dutch Bikes!

Can I rent a bike in La Couarde-sur-Mer?

Yes, our shop is located in the heart of Ile de Ré, in La Couarde-sur-Mer. It’s the perfect starting point to explore the island by bike.

Do you rent electric bikes?

Yes, we offer electric bike hire Ile de Ré for a comfortable ride around the island.

Do you deliver bikes?

Yes, we deliver everywhere on Île de Ré. Delivery is free (except from July 15 to August 31) for all orders over €150 outside La Couarde-sur-Mer.
Below this amount, a €20 fee per trip applies (€40 for delivery and collection).
We serve campsites, residences and holiday rentals.
To book, select the “Campsite delivery” section if you are staying at a campsite, or “Shop” for all other deliveries.

What are your rental prices?

Yes, especially in high season and weekends. Booking in advance ensures the bike you want at the best price.
